结束了第一周的行程，同学们离开纽约，飞往西海岸，在加州的旧金山和伯克利正式开启第二周学习。

5月的加州，风和日丽，阳光温暖有些刺眼。旧金山有些凉意，而伯克利已然是最舒服的天气。
伯克利，位于加州旧金山湾区东岸的丘陵地，1909年建市。1864年加利福尼亚大学从奥克兰迁至此地，成立了加州大学伯克利分校（UC Berkeley）。
课程生活
同学们来到UC Berkeley，住进学生公寓，完全体验了一周伯克利学生的生活。
清晨在路边和山道晨跑，白天聚精会神地学习，中午课间回宿舍午休，结伴去学生餐厅吃饭……
在UC Berkeley，著名的Philip Lin教授，为同学们带来了关于“风险投资”的三天课程。
Lin教授不仅学识渊博，更有着丰富的实践经验。他分享了不少作为John Kluge基金经理的故事，用自身的经历，以及通过大大小小的案例，让同学们充分讨论，汲取了关于VC PE等投资的不少干货。
公司参访
除了课程，企业参访更是干货满满。大家一起参访了Uber，Intel，Google，Y Combinator, Kodiak Science 五家公司。
在Uber， 同学们深入地接触到这家出行领头企业。作为Chief of Staff to Dara Khosrowshahi, the CEO of Uber，Wayne热情接待了大家，用生动简洁的图表数字，分享Uber的理念和运作模式等。
Q&A时，认真回答每位同学的各式问题，Uber开拓市场的策略，发展历史，与滴滴的对比，如何看待滴滴拓展海外市场等等……大家积极互动，获益匪浅。
来到Intel，大家见到了长江MBA2009级校友——翁友亮。他拥有16年中美金融和高科技行业从业经验，目前在美国Intel负责金融业人工智能解决方案。友亮学长带领学弟学妹们参观公司，用自身在Intel的工作经历与丰富的实践经验，进行了一场精彩分享。
在高新企业的摇篮——硅谷，同学们参访了Google。工作环境果然名不虚传，健身房、洗衣机、浴室、果汁吧，一应俱全。
在Google工作逾十年 的product manager——Chris Yang，就Google的企业文化、用人理念，产品等，与同学们交流了想法。

Two weeks, two iconic American cities. This long awaited trip has received mixed receptions. In our first week, we braved the teeming, diverse, dirty, gleeming, siren-filled streets in the heart of New York City. With so much commotion around us, sitting through lectures proved difficult. We wanted to explore this exotic metropolis and its multicultural inhabitants. In week two, the temptation to explore was renewed. Undaunted by Berkeley's countless street dwellers, many of us found time to sightsee and even escaped to San Francisco.
I managed to sit through the courses and attend the company visits. In contrast to most professors, the majority of our speakers spent their careers outside of universities. My favorite course was Venture Capital taught by Professor Philip Lin. He shared a wealth of knowledge regarding his experience as a fund manager for John Kluge (once wealthiest person in the US). In three days, he thoroughly took through the investment cycle from funding to harvesting. The numerous cases were interesting, though long, and engaged us in discussions.

第一周的西点，让我印象很深。西点军校的行程中，通过一个小定向越野游戏，体验到了选择冒险的代价，不走寻常路的勇气精神固然可嘉，但是所承担的风险和结果是不可预测的。选择冒险之前，想好是否能承担相应的后果，并且思考这个后果是否值得自己再去选择这次冒险，再三思索后的判断就勇敢的去选择吧。

To me, the US module is a precious experience to explore the new possibilities in the world. During this 3 weeks trip, I got the chance to learn and to exchange thoughts with the world leading professionals, who are not only academic professors but also frontier business elites and even politicians, the chance to live as a New Yorker, and the chance to visit several financial institutes which only exist in TV and textbooks before. This three weeks intensive life is also a fantastic opportunity for self-reflection. By living closely with classmates 24/7, we completely opened heart to each other, exchange thoughts together, and our relationships were bounded tighter than ever before.
As an old saying, “man who travels far knows more”. The fact which the US module expended my horizon is worth a thousand words.
