The purpose of this position is to leverage the Internet to build awareness of Cheung Kong programs, professors, and alumni among overseas business leaders and English audiences. - Build new connections and enhance existing relationships with well-recognized Hong Kong and Asian-based corporations and higher educational institutions
- Initiate and lead the execution of Cheung Kong marketing initiatives in Hong Kong and beyond, e.g. media outreach, event planning/execution, database building
- Promote MBA, global EMBA, and non-degree executive education programs as an integral part of the overall school strategy
- Advise Cheung Kong GSB on opportunities and academic activities in the region, and implement plans to capture these opportunities
Qualifications include:
- Outstanding general management, leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills developed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to think strategically and solve problems to determine the recommended course of action, and to manage complex communication flows
- Experience in developing and implementing strategic business plans
- A strong record of performance and significant experience marketing, selling, and delivering executive education courses, preferably with experience in Asia
- Well-developed list of contacts in business and higher education in the region
- Fluency in English. Competence in Chinese and other European languages is a plus
- Advanced degree with at least 10 years of experience in senior management or administration, preferably in business education
- Strong global financial and operational experience is preferred

The post-holder will work under the direction of Cheung Kong business faculty to identify data sources, compile datasets and assist in the preparation and presentation of quantitative analyses; assist in the collection, organization and analysis of relevant documents; conduct short literature reviews and bibliographic research; and assist with day-to-day aspects of research and dissemination.
Qualifications include:
- Background knowledge in economics (undergraduate or higher degree in Economics
- Familiarity with data processing and relevant software
- Knowledge of basic statistical analysis techniques
- A strong record of performance and experience and/or interest in business and academic research on business
