长江商学院运作管理学访问教授，耶鲁大学商学院管理学教授，曾任教于麻省理工学院、美国西北大学、香港科技大学，是国内外享有盛誉的生产管理专家。美国管理科学研究所、美国生产管理研究所及美国会计教授协会会员。

其原创性的课题包括：生产管理与战略、工业组织、博弈论、随机程序与控制、供应链管理、服务运作、国际制造网络的管理等。

李乐德教授曾在多家学术期刊上发表系列论文；执笔Business Applications of Game Theory的部分章节；曾获斯隆基金、香港研究基金会等多个专业协会奖励资助；被耶鲁大学授予名誉文学硕士学位。
